McInally netted for the fourth match in succession.
East Kilbride FC Reserves hit top spot in the SPFL Reserve League 2 after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Albion Rovers on Monday night at the Reigart Stadium.
On-form striker Jay McInally found the net for EK for a fourth game in a row, showing great strength and awareness to latch onto a Conor Bell pass to give EK a 15th minute lead.
McInally and Andy Brown came close to adding to the lead but no more goals were forthcoming before the break.
A hard-fought second half saw Rovers draw level after a hotly-disputed penalty twenty minutes from time, which was converted by Jack Gordon.
Ek had chances to win in in the closing stages, with Robertson and McInally both coming close, but Graeme Mullin's men had to settle for a point, which sees them top the table.
