EK welcome Civil Service Strollers to K-Park on Saturday, seeking to get back to winning ways in the Lowland League.
Kilby go into the game having fallen to 4th spot in the table, looking to shake off the disappointment of losing our unbeaten start to the season last weekend at Bonnyrigg, and boss Stephen Aitken will be without midfielder Kyle Hutton following his dismissal after two yellow cards in the loss at New Dundas Park.
Aitken has no new injuries to consider, with Goalkeeper Conor Brennan back in training after an ankle injury, however the match may come a little soon for the Northern Irishman.
However, the Kilby gaffer is expected to add new signing Steven Saunders to the squad to boost his options and freshen up the squad.
Strollers will arrive at K-Park in mid-table after a slower than usual start and will be hoping for a positive result that can be used as a springboard for the rest of the season.
Gary Jardine's side need look no further than last season's corresponding fixture for inspiration, as Strollers left K-Park with all three points after seeing off Stuart Malcolm's EK side 1-0, courtesy of a late strike by Alieau Faye in September 2019.
The match is a 3.00pm kick-off, but sadly no spectators are allowed to attend due to Scottish Government COVID restrictions, but our Twitter account will provide updates, and the match highlights will feature on EKFCtv later in the week.
